The short version: we are not a data business. What you share is encrypted and used only to help you, never sold, never used to train AI models. Documents you upload are scanned and shredded, not stored.

1. What We Keep, and Why

We are not a data business. We do not sell your information, we do not use it to train AI models, and we do not build a profile to advertise to you. What we keep, we keep for one reason only: so your Fellow actually works for you.

Your account: the email address you sign up with.
Your conversations, and what your Fellow learns about you: kept and encrypted (see Security, below) so your Fellow can remember you and pick up where you left off, instead of starting cold every time. This is yours, and you can delete it whenever you want.
Documents and photos you upload: scanned and shredded, not stored. See Care for Your Information.
Basic technical information: what any website needs to load (such as device and browser type).

2. How We Use It

We use what we keep only to provide the service: to sign you in, to let your Fellow understand and remember your situation across sessions, and to keep the service working and secure. We do not use it for advertising.

3. Third-Party Services

To run the service we rely on a small number of providers, including Anthropic (the Claude AI model that powers your Fellow), our hosting and database providers, and a voice provider for speech. They process your data only to deliver their part of the service, and your conversations are not used to train their models.

4. Security

Your information is encrypted in transit (over HTTPS / TLS) and encrypted at rest with AES-256, the same standard approved to protect classified government information. Documents you upload are handled by a scan-and-shred pipeline in your browser and are not stored. See Care for Your Information for the plain-language version.

5. Data Retention

We keep your account information and conversation history for as long as your account is active, so your Fellow can stay useful across sessions. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see Your Rights).

6. AI-Generated Content

Your Fellow's responses are generated by an AI system and are for reflection and informational purposes only. See our AI Disclaimer.

7. Your Rights (Canada, PIPEDA)

Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, and to withdraw consent and request deletion. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

8. Cookies

We use only the essential cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and to remember your settings (such as your language and voice preferences). We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
